GENERAL INFORMATION Thank you for selecting Christine's Catering for your upcoming special event. We eagerly anticipate providing you with our outstanding hospitality, food and service. We specialize in full service off-premise catering for groups up to 200. We are available to assist you in planning any arrangements regarding floral decorations, photography and entertainment. Our event director can personally guide you through each part of your special day, from the ceremony through the reception, leaving you to enjoy the party. We will always be pleased to prepare a custom menu at your request. The following are our policies : EVENT DIRECTOR: Our event director is available to guide you through every aspect of your special occasion. Her fee is based on the size and complexity of your event (not an hourly rate). As part of her services she will meet with you to discuss your ideas and/or theme, co-ordinate the details of your party (such as decorations, entertainment, etc.) and be available throughout the actual event to ensure that all of these elements come together smoothly. PROPOSALS: After a free consultation, Christine will provide a complete proposal for your event. It will be based on your estimated guest count. All proposals are valid for ten days. To hold your reservation, you must return signed proposal within ten days. RESERVATION DEPOSIT: A 25% deposit must be received within fifteen days of proposal to confirm your reservation. This is refundable up to three months prior to your event. No reservation is firm until the deposit is received. An additional 25% is due three months prior to your event, with balance due at your event. Deposits may be made in cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. GUARANTEES AND PAYMENT POLICY: It is required that you notify us of the updated estimated guest count two weeks prior to your event. We will need the exact number of guests attending one week prior. This final guest count is the number for which food will be prepared and which you will be charged, even if fewer guests attend. The balance is due at time of service.
TIMING OF FUNCTIONS: In order to provide the finest service to your group, it is important that Christine's Catering be made aware of all function time changes that your group may have. All functions will be set 15 minutes prior to their stated time. All buffets will be serviced for 1 1/2 hours. Coffee bars for 1 hour. All buffets and bars will be closed 15 minutes prior to end of the event. PRICES AND SERVICE CHARGES: All proposals are dated and remain valid for ten days. Reservation deposit must be received within 15 days as described in the Deposit Policy section of General Information. An 18% service charge and all applicable sales taxes will be added to all food and beverage items. The service charge is to offset administrative expenses for supervisory, sales and kitchen production personnel and to allow Christine's to pay it's staff a competitive wage. A minimum guarantee of 30 guests is required for all buffets. Chef attendants are included in the carving stations as required. A setup fee of $50 will apply for a standard buffet. This fee covers 2 six foot banquet tables, buffet linens, all serving pieces and serving utensils. A minimum guarantee of 20 guests is required for all plated dinners and a maximum of 75 guests. Full service and bar staff are $25 per man hour. Our uniformed service staff will assist as needed for setup and breakdown. Our final cleanup is always immaculate. Please forward any specific house rules of rental properties for full compliance. A delivery charge will be charged for any function that does not require staffing. The charge is based on size and complexity of the event. TABLES, LINEN, PLATEWARE, FLATWARE & GLASSWARE: You may rent any size tables, chairs, linen, dishes, glassware and flatware as needed. Please ask for a current copy of our rental prices. For any furniture or large order a $50 delivery/pickup fee will apply. All rentals are subject to a 6% damage waiver.
